Destinations from Dublin Airport

Brindisi, Italy
The first destination on our list is a small authentic Italian city. This little gem is located in the heel of southern Italy and hosts the remains of many previous civilisations such as the Romans and Gothics, providing ample sights such as the Swebian Castle. You can expect fantastic weather during the summer months as the temperature is usually in the 30°s. The port is simply gorgeous to have a stroll around as you pass restaurant after restaurant.
Alghero, Italy
As the main resort in the North-West of Sardinia, it comes as no surprise that Alghero’s popularity quadruples the medieval city’s population over the Summer months. There are plenty of amazing bars, seafront restaurants and ice cream stalls to enjoy while exploring this beautiful destination. The historic centre, Campanile is a stunning example of 16th century Catalan Gothic architecture, climb to the top or walk along the tall sea wall for amazing views!
Podgorica, Montenegro
Despite the fact that Podgorica has been repeatedly taken over and razed to the ground multiple times over the centuries, the small capital city of Montenegro has rebuilt itself with charm and an amazing 21st century vibrant café culture, plus there is a waterfall located 10 minutes from the city called Niagara Falls.
Billund, Denmark
Billund, is the birthplace of Lego and acts as a haven for Lego aficionados. The world’s very first Legoland is a must-see, where Denmark’s most famous landmarks have been rebuilt on a 1:20 scale. It’s also well-worth getting a tour around Europe’s largest Lego factory, in Billund. If Lego isn’t your thing, Billund also has many outdoor activities such as biking and the Museumsgaarden Karensminde, a Danish heritage site that reminds you this is still a small rural Danish town at its roots.
Palanga, Lithuania
Lithuania’s coastline is home to some of the best and most affordable spa and seaside towns in Europe. Palanga is a town with a split personality; in the Winter months you will find a quiet, peaceful resort on the sea compared to the Summer when Palanga becomes a party destination. Whichever you choose, make sure to go for a stroll along the pier at sunset, simply spectacular.
